In a Swiss village, a four-person amateur theater group rehearses Schiller's “Wilhelm Tell” in a laundry room—the “Rössli” is currently being renovated.
But how can four people perform “Wilhelm Tell”?
The challenges pile up: Maxi is fed up with the much-vaunted patriarchy, Enzo shows up at rehearsal performing Hamlet monologues, and the mayor wants to divert cultural funds to an artificial turf soccer field shortly before his reelection.
